Sleight of Mouth: Fake Diamond Swapped for ₹1.5 Crore Gem Lands Indian Man in Singapore Prison.

The ₹1.5 Crore Spit & Swap: Indian Tourist Jailed in Singapore Over Bizarre Diamond Heist

What sounds like a scene straight out of a Hollywood heist movie has landed an Indian national in a Singaporean jail! MM Kurjibhai was sentenced for his role in a daring robbery that involved stealing a diamond worth a staggering ₹1.5 crore from a local jewellery shop.

The plot was both bizarre and meticulously planned. Kurjibhai and his accomplice, SM Ramnikbhai, executed the heist using an exact replica of the precious gem that was custom-made back in India. The major twist in their plan? Ramnikbhai kept the counterfeit stone hidden securely inside his mouth!

While Kurjibhai smoothly distracted the shop’s employee, Ramnikbhai executed the ultimate sleight of mouth. He spat out the fake diamond, swiftly replaced the real ₹1.5 crore gem with the counterfeit, and slipped the genuine stone away.

However, their master plan quickly unraveled. The duo was apprehended just hours later while attempting to flee through Changi Airport, bringing their million-dollar caper to an abrupt end.
